Crossing Over’s primary purpose is to assist in providing a stable, structured and supportive environment which is conducive to the decisions of living a sober life, free of drugs and alcohol. The current report includes a summary of notable findings since the last report, an overview of current estimates, and trends for alcohol, drug and tobacco use, and need for treatment. While traditional ATR services provide wraparound support to ATR participants, people experiencing housing instability need an additional layer of support to address both their housing and recovery needs. Our goal is to connect participants to safe, drug-free housing to stabilize them in their recovery and help them increase their capacity to support themselves once they complete the program.
